Raleigh NC Real Estate Update

Posted on Monday, December 28th, 2009

Just because the holidays are upon us doesn’t mean that the Raleigh NC real estate market is slowing down. In fact, there is a lot of buzz out there right now, and you could be a part of it!  If you are looking for a new home in the Raleigh NC area, this is information you need to know:

  • Located just over five miles from Raleigh is the new neighborhood at Southerby Bluffs in Garner.  These townhouses are now under construction and are located in a setting with walking access to shopping, schools, and other amenities.
  • Main Street Square, constructed by Boylan Companies, has recently announced the grand opening of its Holly Springs community. Main Street Square is a 37-acre community that includes town homes, apartments and single family homes alongside 80,000 square feet of retail, office and restaurant space just off South Main Street in Holly Springs. Town home prices will begin in the mid $190s to over $250,000, according to the Drees Homes website.
  • Downtown Raleigh is positively aglow with new projects. Most projects are urban in design, and provide a solid dose of modern living that has been missing in the Triangle until now.  Projects such as West at North, the L Building, Bloomsbury Estates, and 222 Glenwood are all in the works, and offer sophisticated urban style living in the heart of the downtown and Glenwood shopping and dining districts.
  • If Midtown is more your style, check out the Lassiter, a 7-story residential building in the North Hills area.  Offering private gardens, underground private parking, and fitness facilities, units in this building will range from 1,200 to over 5,300 square feet.  Enjoy all that North Hills has to offer without having to get in your car!

With projects going on downtown, in Midtown, and beyond, there has never been a better time to find your dream home in the Raleigh area.  To get your home search started, please contact the Greater Raleigh Realty Team today!
